Par (St Austell Bay)

Par is situated in St Austell Bay with the main attraction being the beach (Par Sands) which is, at most, 10 minutes from our holiday parks.

The village of Par itself has a good range of pubs and takeaways serving good food so you don't have to worry about cooking whilst you're on holiday !

St Austell is 15 minutes away and has a great range of high street shops, bars and restaurants as well as ten pin bowling, cinema and swimming pools. The Eden Project is 10 minutes away and an excellent day out; in fact, you're about an hour from most of Cornwall, making Par a good base from which to explore

Snowland Leisure Park (*) - Open March to October

Snowland Leisure Park is situated just 5 miles from St Austell and 2 miles from the Eden Project and Fowey. Par Village is a short walk away and has a couple of pubs serving food, takeaways, shops, a post office and much more.

The holiday park is family run and located just 10 minutes away (either on foot or by car) from Par Beach with it's beautiful silver sand beach and coastal footpaths. It is also within easy commuting distance of all of the major Cornish towns, villages and attractions.

The holiday park has a Bar, Indoor Pool, Gymnasium, Shop and Café; nearby, there is a Fishing Lake and Horse Riding Stables.

We regret that we can only accommodate families and couples and pets are not allowed. All guests will be required to purchase a site pass (site passes does not include Gym membership and there is a small charge for the use of the swimming pool after 6.00pm).

Bronze 6 Berth Caravans (2 bedrooms)

These charming older caravans are nicely furnished and sleep six in two bedrooms (one double, one twin and a double bed in the lounge). They have a lounge/dining area with colour television and electric heating, fully equipped galley kitchen, shower, toilet, wash basin and garden furniture. Sorry, no smoking or pets. Gas is free and electric is supplied via a card prepayment meter.

Platinum 6 Berth Caravans (3 bedrooms)

The ultimate in holiday homes ! These caravans are 12 feet wide and sleep six in three bedrooms (one double and two twins). They are very comfortable and furnished to a very high standard indeed. They have a lounge/dining area with "sofa style" seating, colour television and gas fire, fully equipped kitchen, shower, wash basin, toilet and garden furniture. Sorry, no smoking or pets. Gas is free and electric is supplied via a card prepayment meter.

Silver 8 Berth Caravans (3 bedrooms)

These very comfortable caravans are well furnished and sleep eight in three bedrooms (one double, two twins and a double bed in the lounge). They have a lounge/dining area with colour television and electric heating or gas fire, fully equipped galley kitchen, shower above a "half bath", toilet, wash basin and garden furniture. Sorry, no smoking or pets. Gas is free and electric is supplied via a card prepayment meter.

Par Sands Coastal Holiday Park **** - Open March to October

Par Sands Coastal Holiday Park is situated just 6 miles from St Austell and 3 miles from the Eden Project. It has possibly the best location being just a short distance from Par Beach with it's beautiful silver sand beach and coastal footpaths.

Par Village is a short walk away and has a couple of pubs serving food, as well as takeaways, shops, a post office and much more. The holiday park is well run and is also within easy commuting distance of all the major Cornish towns, villages and attractions.

The holiday park has an Indoor Pool with Water Slide, Tennis Courts, Crazy Golf, Playground, Launderette, Amusements, Small Shop, Wildlife Lake and not forgetting the Beach right on the doorstep; nearby, there is a Beach Shop and Café.

Star ratings are those given by the tourist office; ratings in brackets are our honest assessment where an official rating has not been given.

Bronze - These economy units offer good value for money and are a good base for your holiday. They are generally (in the case of caravans) over 12 years old.

Silver - These mid-range units offer a very comfortable standard of accommodation and are generally (in the case of caravans) no more than 12 years old.

Gold - These premium units offer the highest standard of accommodation and are generally (in the case of caravans) no more than 5 years old.
